Milton Parish Council were fortunate to be awarded some funds from SCDC towards improvements at Edmund Green – that small piece of land on the corner of The Rowans and Cambridge Rd.
Starting Friday 21st March, you will see contractors working on the bushes and trees ahead of the installation of a path and a quiet seating area in the centre. There will also be extensive planting of new hedges and a wild flower area while keeping as much as possible of the current habitats, bushes and bulb area in place. Although the work has started the main contractor is now due in May.
